Hi all to this last week of 2018!! And what a roller coaster of a year it has been!! I hope everyone had a happy Christmas and, like me, is looking forward to the coming New Year, with so many possibilities ahead! This last post is a delightful book I read by another awesome writer I discovered! If you enjoy scientific phenomenon and family stories, then this is definitely for you!!

My review: This is an enchanting story by Wendy Mass, a writer I discovered quite by chance. We meet three kids whose lives change drastically over the course of one summer vacation. And it all happens on an isolated campground called Moon Shadow where thousands of people have gathered to catch a glimpse of a very rare sight: a total eclipse of the sun. What none of these three realize is that they would come together as friends and learn to value their place in the universe. Told from three unique perspectives, Wendy Mass has woven an intricate and delightful story about strangers coming together and unlikely friendships. I totally loved it!! Each character’s uniqueness is just lovely. The writing is in a good style and she brings a unique element of humor in her storytelling. An awesome read for tweens who like science!!
