Hi friends, this month I’ll be taking you into the past. Not too far away, just under a century or so. To be specific, the books I chose this month all take place during the Second World War; from 1939 to 1945. A time when my grandparents were bringing up my parents. So, if you want to see which titles I’ll be reviewing, press below please…
World War Two or the Second World War is a topic that is still being talked about. I am someone who believes that we can learn from the past and that much of today’s problems can be solved by just asking those who lived through harsher times. I know many might disagree but the heroes of the books in this month’s posts are those who have survived so much worse than I could ever imagine.
I’ll be including a tween booklist post, a couple of teen reviews and an amazing historical novel I read a few years ago in this month’s takings. I apologise now for the decreased number of posts as my hands are recovering from the long flight home, a tonne of unpacking, and trying to return to a sense of normality.
So friends, I hope the historical reads this month are ones that you will enjoy reading.
Stay safe and keep reading
