Hi everyone, it’s October and the winter chills are finally receding here in New Zealand. October brings all the Halloween merchandise out; and over in the corner where I live, the neighbourhood goes all out for Halloween. So, to cater to the taste buds of those who enjoy some spooky reads, press below for what’s in store for you…
Glad you made it!!
I thought I’d start off by revealing to you all that my sister and her family visited over their summer holidays in August to participate with us in honouring the second year of dad’s passing. It was a hectic few weeks where I took a short break from my coursework to hang out with them.
One thing I can tell you by having these young things in my life is their fascination with all things spooky and scary. Plus, I know for a fact the spookier the better for most of them!!
Which is why this month’s booklists will have a collection of ghost stories as well as paranormal stories. I thought I’d focus my posts for the young readers while giving one young adult review for those who enjoy a few mature themes to their ghost reads!!
I hope you all enjoy the selection I have planned for you this month!!
Stay safe and keep reading
Miss Mahee
