Hello and welcome to the merry month of March!!
Over here in New Zealand, March heralds the beginning of autumn, a changing of seasons. Most of the schools and universities welcome new entrants now and many of those who visit the library are always after something for their assignments. If you think I will be writing about school stories, you’ve thought wrong!! For me, March is the month of mothers!!

Let me explain. My mother celebrates her birthday this month, and so I decided to dedicate this month to her and all mothers out there. This year my mother farewells another decade of her life but doesn’t look a day older than…well, lets just say she has a secret way of hiding her age!! This is the one thing my sisters and I agree on.
The titles selected for this month will highlight the special relationship we daughter’s share with our mothers. You’ll find stories of mothers and daughters in all shapes and sizes, from all around the world. If you enjoy this selection, please let me know and any suggestions would be welcome too.
Enjoy your reading!

I wish I could think of a YA book with a good mother-daughter relationship… hoping someone else has suggestions!

I hope so too!! So far I’ve found a few YA books, but they seem to reduce me to tears instead of laughter.
