School stories for this October

Hello everyone, this month I have decided to move onto funnier topics. Here in New Zealand the last school term of the year has begun and my niece is about to complete her first year of school. It’s amazing how fast the time has gone!! The fun and exciting stories she recounts to me always bring a smile to my face. So, in order to have a smile a week, why don’t you sit back and enjoy a selection of middle school stories this month!!

Off to school we go

For me, my school years wouldn’t have been bearable if it weren’t for the awesome teachers and friends I made. Mind you, I was one of those kids who actually enjoyed her school work too!! I’m not one to brag, but my own school years were fairly pleasant ones with only a few challenging situations. That is not to say that I wasn’t ever bullied or mistreated; experiences like that do leave scars for everyone and I’m just like everyone else in this way. I was scarred in my younger years by a bully and have heard every name you can give a girl with glasses!! However, as I became a teenager, I learned how to grow despite it all and eventually found my strength thanks to the heroes I found in my library books!! And so, to honour those heroes I will be including a special post with a collection of stories on bullying. The rest of the month will feature some awesome teachers, those lasting friendships you make in school, hilarious adventures and cryptic treasure hunts!!

Enjoy your reading!!
