My review: A gorgeous story!! Of families and friends, grief and loss, middle school and all the dramas, of conservation and protecting our environment and history, all while finding what the meaning of home and life is all about. I really enjoyed the amazing writing and imagery used here!! I loved the inclusion of the public librarian and the role she plays. The subtle way Monika Schröder introduces young readers who have to deal with adult problems is amazing!! This is a really good story; quite sad but a happy ending!
