Let’s enjoy poetry this May

Hi everyone, welcome to the colder month of May, well… for us down in New Zealand anyway! Those who live elsewhere: oh how I envy your warmer summer days to come!! This month could be about seasons, people, love… well… anything really as it celebrates poetry. To see what I actually intend on sharing with you why not press the button below now…

In all the years I’ve been reading children’s fiction the ones that keep touching my heart are those that are written in verse. To be honest, I learned more about the different forms of poetry through most of these reads than all the years of schooling I had!!

Inspirational quote…

This month I’ll be featuring a few review posts with tween reads in verse that stood out for me over the years. I’ll also include a personal post about my writing journey with a selection of my own poetry.

So, friends, if you were waiting to see a bit more of my poetry then this is the month for you. I hope you all enjoy the selection of posts this month!

Stay safe and keep reading
