Hi friends, this final message is one I started to write with a heavy heart but ended up giving myself a sort of revelation about myself in the process. If you’re interested in finding out more, press below to read my message… Or if you’re not feeling up to it, my fondest farewell to you. May the pages of your next read keep your heart happy and warm!
Thanks for popping on down!! I’ve had a great eight years preparing and writing up posts for this blog. I learned so much doing it. I even ‘met’ quite a few like-minded people through my time blogging about all types of books!!

My best highlight over the years was when Deron Hicks mentioned one of my reviews!! That was a week that brought so much joy and fulfillment to my blogging journey. With every reaction and comment from followers all over the globe, my heart soared and kept my soul fed.
I found myself feeling giddy with excitement as I shared the books I had read over the weeks and planning the months ahead. Thinking of themes to carry through to the year gave me a sense of purpose for the duration of my career as a librarian and my hobby of book blogger. I don’t think that part of me will ever stop; it’s not something I find I can turn off!!
This is not the end for Miss Mahee, just a hiatus. I’m still reading several books a week. I’m still actively looking at authors that interest me and sometimes following them on Instagram!!

My business is just starting and I find I need to dedicate more time and energy into it. That is one of the main reasons I am ending Miss Mahee’s Library of Reads on this platform. However, just because it’s no longer here on WordPress, it doesn’t mean it’s gone forever. Someday in the near-future, I hope to continue sharing my quirky and unique insights into books for tweens!! When that will be is still up in the air; but if you’re an avid follower and reader of tween books, map-related reviews, interested in philosophy, or just someone who enjoys armchair travelogues, then chances are you’ll find me again somewhere!!
So, until we meet again, it’s a sad but hopeful goodbye from this book blogger 🥲
Stay safe and keep reading everything you enjoy
Best wishes from Miss Mahee
