Let’s talk about migrating this September

Hi everyone, this September the theme will focus on the theme of migrating. When I say ‘migrating’, I’m not actually meaning the movements of animals, but rather the movement of people across the globe over the course of time. This theme is one I have been contemplating featuring for a while, so I hope you enjoy the selections of reads I have for you this month…

My tween years in boarding school

Hi everyone, here is this month’s personal post. It’s all about the major change in my own life I experienced when I was a tween. I’m not sure if I had mentioned it before, but I spent the equivalent of middle school in a boarding school in England. I know, it sounds different than what you think though. My reflections for this year…

Hi everyone, welcome to this first week of December. Summer has arrived in her glory. Here in Auckland we’re slowly enjoying our new found freedom as lockdown restrictions ease. This first post from me is actually one on my personal growth, healing and indulgence. I thought I should reflect on the year that has passed and share a bit of what I’ve been through.

Reflecting on this year…

Hi everyone, summer has definitely arrived here in New Zealand. The pohutukawa tree in front of my father’s house has bloomed signaling the beginning of the season. Work is well under way in my library as restrictions ease and the kids are excited for Christmas!! Instead of focusing on a theme for this month I thought I’d give a mixture of festive reads along with some reflective writing on how the year has gone for me!!
