Hi everyone, I hope March is treating everyone fairly. Here in New Zealand the seasons are changing. Cool breezes and rain showers are welcomed after an exceptionally searing summer!! My review for this week is about another group of young girls, I know, I can’t seem to get away from groups!! This book though has a special element to it: blogging!! So if you’re interested, have a read of this post!

Title: The OMG Blog
Author: Karen McCombie
Publication details: Conkers; Edinburgh, 2016
ISBN: 9781781125435
What this book is about: When Jessie, Shanice, Rose and Zarah meet in detention, they realize they all have one thing in common – crazy mums. From the Insta-stalker to the foghorn-voiced bossy boots, each girl has a mum-shaped millstone round her neck. What they need is a place to let off steam, and friends who understand. Soon the OMG! Blog is born, the mum’s exploits are published for the world to see and the girls have their sights set on a big blogging competition. What could possibly go wrong?
My review: A rip-roaring hilarious read by best-selling author Karen McCombie. Told in her unique voice with hilarious antics and blogging adventures, this story had me hooked from start to finish. Made up of twelve easy to read chapters with some visually awesome chapter pages, Karen McCombie has made this story appealing for those reluctant readers and for those readers who need a bit of help. A really cool story of friendship, families and most of all, mums and daughters!! An awesome read!! Especially for girls!!
