Watch out! There are wild kids on the loose and a crime spree coming…
My review: What a non-stop ride of cons, schemes and wild twists this book was!! This is one awesome mystery that kept me gripped till the very end. Some hilarious dialogue and memorable characters in March and Jules and their gang of friends. Although I don’t recommend anyone give up their day job for a life of theft, this read kept my adrenaline rushing non-stop!! Jude Watson is a master writer!!
Sometime later I found that Jude Watson had written a sequel!! Here is the review for that title.

Title: Sting (It takes a crook to catch a crook)
Author: Jude Watson
Genre: Fiction – contemporary
Publication details: Scholastic Press; NY, 2016
What this book is about: We meet young March McQuin in this book dangling upside down twenty feet above a stone floor in the middle of the night. Why you may ask? Turns out he was doing a favour for a friend. Along with his twin sister Jules, he’s stealing a set of stunning diamonds. It should have been an easy job, in and out. Except another thief got there first. March and Jules are lucky to escape with their lives, and one measly stone. Now the botched stone heist has created a world of trouble. The gem they grabbed was the Morning Star, one of a trio of famous sapphires, and it’s cursed. The theft puts the twins and their friends in the radar of Interpol, the FBI, and a vicious adult gang of criminals. And worst of all, the only way to break the curse and set everything to rights is by pulling off two more impossible heists… and stealing the other two sapphires in the set.
My review: The non-stop thrilling adventure sequel to Loot. You will find another hair-raising, action-packed adventure read from Jude Watson. I really enjoyed this book as it felt like a Bond or Mission Impossible movie!! Some really cool stunt scenes described but please don’t try them yourself!! A great set of books for those who like adventures and mysteries!!
My rating for both books: 4 ½⭐
