Hi everyone, this next read is one I came upon quite by chance. I was going through a phase of reading self-help books when this title popped up. The one thing that struck me was the author’s name…well…for those who know the name Deepak Chopra…this is an amazing book written by his daughter!!

What this book is about: This book is a chronicle of Mallika Chopra’s search to find more meaning, joy, and balance in life. In telling her story Mallika hopes she can inspire others with her own successes (and failures) as well as share some of the wisdom she has gathered from friends, experts, and family along the way. With raw honesty and heart, she draws a practical road map for how we can all move from thought to action to outcome. Each chapter is devoted to one set on her journey and another piece of her INTENT action plan: Incubate, Notice, Trust, Express, Nurture, and Take Action. Mallika Chopra’s advice helps us all realize the lives we truly intend.

My review: Not only is Mallika the daughter of the world’s first and best self-help guru Deepak Chopra, she is in her own right, an awesome figure. She is a mom, a successful entrepreneur, the founder and CEO of, successful author, and a successful speaker. This book is not just any guide to living a good life but also charts her own failures and successes. That’s the part that I enjoyed the most; the anecdotes she includes of living with her world-famous dad and the other family members who have helped them both through their success. For me, the picture of family support and friends around her is one that will also appear strongly. Her message is simple: find out who you truly are and let that person’s strengths shine through and lead the way toward greater purpose and peace. A truly inspirational and achievable read to change your life for the better!! You can find all the amazing things she does on her blog!!
