A bookish book review for bibliophiles

Hi everyone, this book review I’m including at the end of this month is one that I, as an avid and crazy bibliophile, fell head over heels in love with. I hope you feel the same as I do when you read it…

What this book is about:  We learn to read at an early age, and as we grow older we shed our beloved books for new ones. Most of us surround ourselves with books. We collect them, decorate them, are inspired by them, and treat our books as sacred objects. In this light-hearted collection of one and two-page comics, writer-artist Grant Snider explores bookishness in all its forms, and the love of writing and reading. With a striking package including a die-cut cover, this is the perfect gift for bookworms of all ages.

My review: A book about books and the reasons for loving them so much!! That’s it in a nutshell really!! I loved every single element of this read!! Every single page called out to me and if I could I’d add them all into every corner of this review!! The colouring of the panels mixed with the perfect words made this comfort reading for me. I’m looking forward to reading the other creations by this talented writer-illustrator!!

My rating: 5 ⭐
