Welcome to 2020

A new decade begins…

Welcome everyone to this new year and new decade!! They say that a new decade brings things into perspective; for me, it’s actually happened. As of a few weeks ago I changed my address for the second time in twelve months!! This new place makes my commute to work a bit longer but sometimes it’s worth it. I get to wake up to some amazing views and fresh crisp air that only trees in a forest gives!

Let’s journey around Europe with these reads…

Hi everyone, I hope your needs to travel across Europe has been sparked by the first post earlier this week. These few extra titles I found took me across Europe; climbing the Alps, walking on cobbled streets in the Italian countryside and racing across hidden places of London. Wanderlust this December…

And with summer comes long lazy days with family, the odd road trip down to a nearby beach for a swim or even a longer vacation with day walks in rainforests, hiking up hills or just playing in a park. Hello all, this week my review is about a group of stories featuring a pair of sisters from Austria who find safety in the wild coast of Sweden during the Second World War. I hadn’t realised that the child evacuation program they had in those years had extended to different countries until I read this book. Stories of siblings along based on historical events always tug at my heartstrings so I hope you enjoy my review below!
