Dear diary… it’s June now
Hi there, it’s the beginning of June! I hope everyone has slumbered out of lockdown alright. Down here in New Zealand we’ve just come out of our lockdown period and easing back into ‘normal’ life. With all the changes that have taken place, both outside of my world as the seasons shift and inside myself, I wanted to change up my selections for this month. This month you will find all the reads told in the style of diary entries.

A new decade begins…
Welcome everyone to this new year and new decade!! They say that a new decade brings things into perspective; for me, it’s actually happened. As of a few weeks ago I changed my address for the second time in twelve months!! This new place makes my commute to work a bit longer but sometimes it’s worth it. I get to wake up to some amazing views and fresh crisp air that only trees in a forest gives!

Hello all to the spring month of September!
This month’s posts feature books about young heroes. Not your typical comic book superheroes or those who save the world from mythical monsters or evil secret societies. These are young kids who have overcome some sort of illness, medical condition, or are living with a form of disability. I chose this topic for an extremely personal reason this month.

Hi everyone, welcome to this first post for August! The title I selected for this week I read a few years ago but the simple story and quirky characters still remain in my memories. This was one of the first few family stories that I truly enjoyed and haven’t found a similar story to match the qualities of this book! So, why not give this title a try!!
